We assist with a wide range of genealogical needs, including reviewing existing research, uncovering new ancestors or family lines, resolving “brick-wall” challenges, preparing Lineage Society applications, creating pedigree charts, family group sheets, narrative-style family trees, graphical timelines, and photo albums. Whether your project is for yourself, a family member, a gift, or a family reunion, each project is approached with care, precision, and a deep respect for your family’s unique story.
Services/Packages
Every family history journey is unique, and the time needed to uncover the full story can vary. We typically work on an hourly basis, with most projects requiring 30 hours or more, while smaller projects may take 10–25 hours.
Throughout the process, we keep you connected to every discovery, providing regular updates and sharing our progress as we uncover new pieces of your family’s story. Our approach is collaborative and transparent, ensuring you feel informed, involved, and excited about each step along the way.
Pricing
- Hourly $50, This rate will cover research time, analysis, and administrative overhead. A minimum of 5 hours is required.
- Daily $400, (day is 8 hours) This rate will cover research time, analysis, basic report summarizing findings, GEDCOM File or Family Tree Maker Backup, and administrative overhead.
- Review of Previous Research $50 – $100/hr, depending on project complexity.
- Brick-wall Research $75/hr
- Lineage Society Applications $50 – $100/hr, (DAR, Mayflower, etc.) depending on project complexity.
- DNA & Family Mystery $350/flat, (review of DNA results/matches, tree-building to identify unknown relatives)
- Pedigree Chart $100 – $350
- Large Wall Chart $350 – $500
- Hi-Quality Chart $500, (up to 6 generations on one line, up to 32 ancestors) for chart only
- Photo Album $50 – $300
- Family Book $50 – $300
Single Direct Line Ancestors Package $1500

- 3 days of Research
- Up to 6 Generations (32 ancestors) on 1 line (Maternal or Paternal)
- GEDCOM File or Family Tree Maker Backup
- Pedigree chart (family tree in ancestor lines) and/or fan chart, family group sheets
- PDF or scans of vital records, census pages, immigration, etc.
- Photos, maps, newspaper clippings if relevant and available.
- Detailed written research report summarizing findings with citations
Family Line Package $3000
What’s included:
- 6 days of Research
- Up to 6 Generations (64 ancestors) on 2 lines (Maternal or Paternal)
- GEDCOM File or Family Tree Maker Backup
- Pedigree chart (family tree in ancestor lines) and/or fan chart, family group sheets
- PDF or scans of vital records, census pages, immigration, etc.
- Photos, maps, newspaper clippings if relevant and available.
- Detailed written research report summarizing findings with citations
Please note: As we explore your family history, some records (certificates, archives, or specialized subscription databases) may require additional fees, which are billed separately. We’ll always provide estimates and keep you informed before proceeding, ensuring your journey through the past stays clear and stress-free.
